We are pleased to publish the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Accountable, Responsible and Transparent AI (ART-AI) 2023-24 Annual Report.

Opening remarks from Eamonn O’Neill, Centre Director & Academic Supervisor;

“This year saw the first thesis submissions by our students as our first cohort, who arrived in 2019, came to the end of their projects and began moving out of the CDT into the working world. I am confident that in their future careers they will advocate for and disseminate the ethical and responsible approach to creating accessible and intelligible AI that is at the core of our CDT. Meanwhile, our final cohort arrived at the start of the academic year and have just completed the taught Masters part of the integrated PhD programme. I know that they are keen and able to embark wholeheartedly on their research project, and wish them well in their endeavours.

Once again, I would like to thank all our partners and staff for their work over the last year supporting our students, and for a job well done.”
