My project will develop algorithms for AI inspired by the bounded rationality of humans – able to make good decisions with limited time, information, and computation in complex environments. In contrast, today’s AI algorithms generally require extensive time, information, and computation, and are only effective in confined and stable environments. The objective of the project is to develop algorithms that are state-of-the-art in both accuracy and explainability.
