A big welcome to our 5th cohort of students to the UKRI CDT in ART-AI.

We had a great induction week welcoming our 5th cohort of students to the UKRI CDT in ART-AI. Welcome week took place at the University of Bath, Monday 25th – Friday 29th September 2023 and included formal introductions and information sessions as well as more relaxed social events.

Highlights of the week included campus tours led by peer mentors followed by peer exchange sessions involving all 5 of our cohorts. We held an ART-AI Afternoon Tea with students, supervisors and the management team. We also had a session on research mapping and collaboration delivered by cohort 4 student, Eoin Cremen. The week ended with a relaxed social event with board games at Thirsty Meeples and drinks at the Bath Brewhouse.

The new cohort 5 has 15 students. This brings us to a total of 66 ART-AI students across 5 cohorts. To find out more about all of our students including their research areas please click here (Cohort 5 details to be added).
