Join us on January 28th to officially launch the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Accountable, Responsible and Transparent AI (ART-AI)
ARTI-AI will recruit and train at least 60 PhD students from diverse backgrounds, including existing experts in AI, but also from engineering, social science and policy backgrounds to help ensure that developments in AI, and decisions on how and when to use it or not, are informed and ethical.
Launch Event
The Launch Event will be from 17:15 on level 2 of the Chancellor’s Building, University of Bath. A rough timetable is:

17:35-17:40 – A few words from Jonathan Knight, Pro-VC
17:40-17:55 – Eamonn on the CDT in general
17:55-18:10 – Marina De Vos, Director of Studies, on the CDT training
18:10-18:40 – Professor Joanna Bryson (of Bath and the Hertie Institute, Berlin) on “Accountable, Responsible and Transparent AI”
