Our students are looking forward to once again spending 3 days at a residential Writing Retreat at the Ammerdown Retreat Centre in Radstock, Somerset, this summer.
The aim of this Writing Retreat is to bring all 3 cohorts of ART-AI students together, away from their normal environment, to allow them time to focus on their writing for 3 days. Our 2019 Cohort (Cohort 1) will be thinking about writing papers/writing up their Thesis, our 2020 Cohort (Cohort 2) are coming to the end of the first year of their PhD research and will be focusing on their Confirmation Report, while our 2021 Cohort (Cohort 3) are coming to the end of the MRes year and will be focusing on their Interdisciplinary Thesis Formulation Report.
This event was very well received by the ART-AI students last year and we hope to build on that success by providing the space to focus on their writing, enabling student collaboration and facilitate cohort building.
