Our students are looking forward to once again spending 3 days at our residential Writing Retreat at the Ammerdown Retreat Centre in Radstock, Somerset, this July.
The aim of this Writing Retreat is to bring all 5 cohorts of ART-AI students together, away from their normal environment, to allow them time to focus on their writing for 3 days. Cohorts 1 – 3 will be writing papers/writing up their Thesis, Cohort 4 are coming to the end of the first year of their PhD research and will be focusing on their Confirmation Report, while our latest Cohort, Cohort 5, are coming to the end of the MRes year and will be focusing on their Interdisciplinary Thesis Formulation Report.
This is the fourth year of holding an ART-AI Writing Retreat and each year the event has been very well received by the ART-AI students. We hope to build on this success by providing the opportunity to enable focused writing, student collaboration and cohort building.
