About this event
The University of Bath would like to invite you to the Augmented Human collaboration event. This unique event is free for businesses, organisations and individuals with an interest in technologies that assist and augment the human.
Human augmentation technology development is an increasingly complex but opportunity rich arena. There are mature technologies that could be integrated today with manageable policy considerations, such as personalised nutrition, wearables, augmented and virtual reality and exoskeletons. Other technologies in the future will promise greater potential such as genetic engineering and brain-computer interfaces. There is opportunity to work together to develop these technologies.
Regardless of whether your field of work is wearable technology in sports and nutrition, human interfaces for national security, AR/VR, prosthetics and neurotechnology within medical applications, smart sensors for emergency services, gaming technologies, or AI that crosses all augmentation sectors, this event is relevant to you.
During the day you will be able to:
• Learn about the University of Bath’s Augmented Human Beacon
• Engage with academics from the University of Bath to learn about the very latest research
• Explore collaborative opportunities and how we can work together to develop tomorrow’s technologies
• Discuss how your challenges, priorities and interests in this field can be supported through University of Bath academic expertise
• Hear from funders such as Innovate UK and the Defence and Security Accelerator
• Explore additional funding opportunities with experts
You have the option during the registration of the event to provide a short summary of challenges within your company that you would like to explore.
