We are pleased to have Carina Prunkl from the University of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics in AI and research affiliate of the Centre for the Governance of AI join us for this ART-AI seminar, entitled ‘Human autonomy vs machine autonomy? – why there is no trade-off’. This event will be chaired by ART-AI student Finn Hambly.

Bio

Carina Prunkl is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics in AI and research affiliate of the Centre for the Governance of AI. Her work is on the ethics and governance of autonomous systems, with a focus on the impacts of AI on human autonomy and freedom. She holds a DPhil in Philosophy and an MSt in Philosophy of Physics from the University of Oxford, as well as a BSc and MSc in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin.
